If a package is damaged in transit, we want to see what happened. We will request clear photos of the damaged item, the inner packaging, and the outer packaging. Sometimes that includes a photo of the entire item (zoomed out) or close up of the damage (zoomed in). We are not expecting expert photography, but we want to see what happened. We need to verify what damage occurred and if it occurred in transit.
Please be sure that the photos are not too small to see on a computer screen and make out what the photo is trying to detail. Also be sure the photo is not blurry and unclear.
Some tips:
- Make sure photos of the damage clearly shows what is damaged. If needed, place an arrow pointing to stress fractures or cracks for clarity.
- Photos of the internal packaging should show everything that was used to pack the items, including foam, bubble wrap, packing peanuts, etc.
- Photos of the external packaging should show any damage to the box and should show the shipping label.
- Also provide a photo of the of a box’s box manufacturing certificate which provides details such as a size limit, a weight limit, and how much weight it is able to withstand per square inch.
