Why are you verifying email addresses?

In order to file a claim or check the status of your claim, we make sure that the email address we have on file for your insured shipment or filed claim belongs to you. To do so, we email you a 6-digit verification code via email. This code expires 10 minutes after it is generated. Check the Status of A Claim - How Do I Change the Email Address That You Are Sending the Verification Email To?

If you are trying to check the status of a claim, our system has a specific email address attached to your claim that you used when filing the claim. If you do not have access to that email address, please email us at claims@shipsurance.com and provide us a new email address to use for your claim. Please make sure to provide the complete claim number so we can update the proper claim on your behalf.
